Madeleine's illustrator background is still much alive. Today she still has a passion for drawing. She says:'I still draw regularly. I have my sketchbook always around. However it is filled with lots of written ideas as well as drawings. I always develop content/ideas for my films as much as the visuals. I believe that visuals are pointless without a subtle storyline (this can be as much experimental as literal).
